First Win on Tour for Jamieson and Nike VR_S Covert Driver

At the European Tour’s 2013 season opener, the rain-shortened Nelson Mandela Championship, Scott Jamieson recorderd his maiden victory after a sudden-death playoff on the second hole.
Jamieson won with the Nike VR_S Covert Tour driver with the Nike FlexLoft adjustability, which was in his bag for only the 4th time in competitive golf.
The stunning red driver has made a statement in the industry with its arresting appearance, cavity back design, distinctive and simplest FlexLoft adjustability system, and NexCor face. Jamieson’s victory validates the winning performance of the combined innovative technologies.
He almost secured his win outright when on his final hole he drove the green on the 305-yard par 4 ninth, but missed his eagle putt. Jamieson is the first Nike athlete to win with the VR_S Covert driver.
The Nike VR_S Covert driver, world’s first high speed cavity back driver, will be available to consumers on February 8, 2013.
