Sports and Miyazaki Shafts congratulates Keegan Bradley for his victory at the 2011 PGA Championship. Bradley, a PGA TOUR rookie, son of a PGA club professional and nephew of LPGA Hall of Fame member Pat Bradley clinched the Wannamaker Trophy and his second PGA TOUR title in a playoff at the Atlanta Athletic Club, in Johns Creek, GA.

The 25-year-old, who trailed by five strokes with three holes to play in the final round, finished with two birdies and a par find himself in two-way tie for the at 8-under par after 72 holes, earning his way into a three-hole aggregate playoff. Bradley then birdied the first hole of the playoff to take a one-stroke lead before making back-to back pars to seal the victory from Jason Dufner.

“We’ve seen more and more wins with our Miyazaki Kusala and C. Kua Series golf shafts throughout all the various tours worldwide, but getting this first major tournament win for Miyazaki really sends the message that we’ve arrived,” said Tim Gillis, Director of Sales for Miyazaki™ Shafts in North America.

“When a player who has won twice in his rookie year - including a major - chooses to play your shafts, it makes quite a statement about his level of expectation and their performance. The success behind Miyazaki Shafts is fundamentally rooted in our patented International Flex Code fitting system, which allows for golf’s most precise shaft fit. We know from working with Keegan that he will not accept anything less than the best.”
