Kristoffer Reitan What's In The Bag 2025
Kristoffer Reitan produced the round of his life to win the Soudal Open in the most unlikely of circumstances. The Norwegian shot a course record 62 and then had to wait almost three hours to see if anybody could beat his 13 under par total.
Scotland’s Ewen Ferguson stood on the 18th tee with a one-shot lead but missed the green with his approach and then took three more to get down. It meant that Reitan, Ferguson and Darius van Driel all had to head back to play the 18th again. They all parred it first time around but on the second trip, Ferguson and van Driel both missed makable putts before Reitain holed a 13-foot birdie effort to claim his maiden title. In the process, he overturned a nine-shot deficit.
