Mendip Golf Club Berkeley Hall foursomes event

The Berkeley Hall Foursomes took place last week on a lovely Summer's Evening. A shotgun start saw pairs battle it out to secure a place in representing The Mendip Golf Club in the Daily Mail Foursomes knockout competition. Winning pair were Paul Merrett & Tim Chapman 69.5, Second went to Simon Wynne & Simon Grant 70, third place was Eric Jordan & Brian Smith with 70.5
Showering Cup Overall Winner Colin Davies 68, Runner up Duncan Offer 68. Div 1 winner George Morgan 69, 2nd Neil Onslow 69. Div 2 winner Kevin Howerd 69, 2nd Steve Creese 70. Div 3 winner Nigel Goodwin 69, 2nd Andy Parfitt 69.
The winners of the Charity Bowmaker in aid of the Lady Captains charity, Air Ambulance were Jenny Merrett, Liz Rose, Di Hutton and Trish Murphy with 91 pts.
