Russ 'How Many Rounds' Middleton

Russ Middleton is a Golfshake.com forum moderator and organises the Priors Golf League .  He also led the way in number of rounds tracked on Golfshake in 2009 with well over 150!  Along with his regular playing partner David Roth between they played in excess of 300 rounds of golf, pretty impressive.

How long have you been playing golf and what's your current handicap ?

Played golf for 30 years and my current handicap is 11 (11.4)

What's you golfing aspiration, lower you handicap, have fun, compete on tour ?

I’d love to play in the Open, if not that then the Senior’s Open.  For now I’m just aiming to get my handicap down to single figures
 
Where and how often do you normally play ?

Stapleford Abbotts GC and surrounding area, Winter 2 or 3 times a week (depends on weather), Summer 4 or 5 times a week
 
What's the best part of your game and what do you need to work on ?

Putting has always been the best part of my game.  Pitching needs some work
 

What was your best golf shot or memory so far ?

Hit 8 iron to two inches from the hole, one more roll of the ball and it would have gone in for an ace.

What's your favourite course ?

Toot Hill GC

Where would you love to play ?

Where do I start.....    Augusta National, Wentworth, Woburn and The Belfry
 
What's your ultimate fourball ?

Two thoughts on this, one golfing fourball and one non-golfing

Golfing:  Tiger Wood, Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus

Non-Golfing:  Clint Eastwood, John McEnroe and Lee Evans
