New Odyssey S2S TRI HOT SB putters unveiled

You will have probably heard a lot about zero torque putters in recent years but the new Odyssey S2S TRI-HOT SB models have sought to redefine what that looks and feels like.

Through multi-material construction, engineered moved the centre of gravity forward allowing the shaft to enter the head on the topline. This creates a natural square setup without shaft lean removing one of the biggest barriers to adopting zero-torque designs.

The SB (Single Bend) configuration shifts the shaft toward the heel, delivering a more familiar look at address while fully preserving zero-torque performance. The result is a zero-torque putter in a non-centre-shafted design, with clean, unobstructed alignment and intuitive setup.

Let's have a glance at the tech behind these new putters.

New Odyssey Putters

Zero Shaft Lean With Heel-Ward Hosel Position

By pushing the CG forward, Odyssey were able to place the hosel spud directly on the topline, closer to the face than typical zero-torque putters. This creates a more intuitive, comfortable setup.

The SB (Single Bend) shaft shifts the hosel toward the heel, providing a traditional appearance and an unobstructed view of the sightline while maintaining zero torque performance.

Multi-Material Construction

By strategically using Aluminum, Steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, Odyssey has been able to design a "Zero Torque" putter with more than 80% of its weight under the topline and allowing for the forward CG and hosel position.

Ai-DUAL Insert

Designed using Artificial Intelligence, this dual-layer urethane insert has a soft outer layer and a firm inner layer delivering not only consistent ball speed across the face but also enhanced forward roll up and down the face and amazing feel.

New F.R.D. Groove Design

This new Forward Roll Design groove design is deeper and more aggressive with a 19° slope it works in conjunction with the dual layer design to improve forward roll up and down the face.

New Odyssey Putters

New Pistol Plus Grip

Odyssey surveyed the most popular grips used on tours around the world and looked for commonalities and opportunities to improve on those designs. The result is a mid-sized pistol grip with crisp edges that allow it to fit comfortably in your hands and give you a better awareness of where the putter face is throughout your stroke.

Black SL 120 Shaft

This black PVD shaft, developed based on tour player feedback, is heavier and stiffer than the SL 90 and ideally suited for this style of putter.

Cruiser Option

The #7 Cruiser comes standard at 38" with: a heavier head, a longer and heavier SL140 shaft and a longer 17" grip for golfers that prefer that setup.

Rossie, Jailbird and #7 each cost £499, while #7 Cruiser is priced at £529.
