PuttOut Feature Review

By: | Mon 17 Sep 2018

PuttOut's training aid has been a popular addition to the market. Its uniquely designed parabolic curve automatically returns your good putts, rejects missed putts but holds your perfect putt, delivering instant feedback to your practice. And with this you really can take that practice anywhere. Only putts of absolute perfection will hold in the micro-target.

Tech Specs

Using a folding design, PuttOut can be taken wherever there’s space to play - carry it in your backpack, golf bag or even pocket. And when you’re finished, fold it away, out-of-sight in your desk drawer.

With a scientifically shaped ramp, each made putt is returned to the player the same distance it would have gone past the hole had it missed, anything else is a miss.

Looks

The PuttOut is a great looking aid for practising your putting no matter where you are. It is made of a high quality standard. The fact it folds down means its easy to store in your bag, office desk, drawer etc. Once folded out it then becomes easy to see what the aim is - The Perfect Putt!!

Feel

You get great feedback from the PuttOut as the ramp returns the ball back to you at the distance the ball would have rolled past the hole. To achieve the Perfect Putt is no easy feat as anything slightly off line or under/over hit will not stay in the micro target.

Performance

I have had numerous items down the year to try to putt to/in but this is by far and away the best I have come across. I've tried cups/mugs, automatic ball returners etc but this trumps them all.

Pros

The PuttOut really is by far the best putting practice device you will come across. At £19.99 it is money well spent. I have had mine for about tem months and I use it regularly in the house mainly but also sometimes on the practice green at my course. It's easy to carry and use and gives instant feedback to line and speed.

Cons

None apart from getting frustrated trying to achieve the Perfect Putt!

Bottom Line

Since getting the PuttOut and being able to practice pretty much whenever I want I have found that my putting has improved quite a bit. All you need is some carpet (or even the PuttOut Mat) and you are ready to go.

The way the ball is returned is great, you can use with the micro hinge out to achieve the Perfect Putt or left in to just groove your stroke. It really comes into its own when the weather out is poor, the nights are drawing in or you just can't get to a practice green.

Rated 10/10
