Galvin Green Reveals 2020 Apparel Collection

For the new year, premium golf apparel brand Galvin Green has revealed its Part One Collection, which features close to 300 garments and accessories, engineered to help golfers look stylish on the golf course, and to enhance their performance.

Building on its pioneering Multi-layer Concept to provide exceptional comfort as well as protection from extreme weather, the Swedish brand has introduced a host of innovations, along with garments evolved from popular earlier lines. In total, there are 142 men’s and 71 women’s garments in multiple sizes and styles, the biggest ever junior range and over 60 accessories for the coming season.

It includes an expanded INTERFACE-1™ jacket collection offering three distinctive levels of warmth and comfort, plus more garments with front pockets and fabrics sourced from eco-friendly suppliers. Among the new vibrant colours for next year are Barberry Red, Ensign Blue, Surf Blue, Sharkskin, Deep Pink, Blush Pink and Cool Grey, as well as conventional favourites Navy, Red, Black and White.

“This new collection reflects our brand DNA to constantly progress, just as every serious golfer wants to improve by playing as often as possible,” said CEO Nicholai Stein. “In looking to give customers the very best golfing experience, our designers took inspiration from two complementary elements in the game – the soft flow of course topography and the powerful impact on striking the ball. In combining these elements, they created a vision of fresh prints, patterns and graphic designs that match our focus on functional comfort and style perfectly.”

New Half-Zip SHAKEDRY™

Leading the range are two super-lightweight GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ jackets – offering the most comfortable and reliable waterproof technology on the market. The original full-zip model (ASHTON) now comes in two colours – Ash Grey/Silver & Ash Grey/Red – while the new half-zip jacket weighing just 172g (ASHBY) features a side zipper for easy removal when the rain stops; elastic binding on the shaped sleeves; water-repellent zippers; and an elastic drawstring for a snug fit. Available in Ash Grey/Red in sizes S-3XL.

“The half-zip SHAKEDRY™ jacket has been added due to demand from golfers who prefer an even more streamlined waterproof top,” said Stein. “World-class Tour players who wore the full-zip jacket told us it felt like wearing another shirt, but this version is even lighter and super functional for accomplished players.”

The flagship full-zip waterproof GORE-TEX jacket in stretch fabric with a C-KNIT® ‘slide & glide’ backer (ARCHIE), now comes in a third colour, Surf Blue/Black. Complete with GORE-TEX Super-stretch inserts on the back and elbows, the jacket features a new Techsteel™ fabric on the shoulders for greater durability; adjustable cuff, chest and collar width for extra comfort and protection; water-repellent zippers; and front pockets. Sizes available between S-3XL.

Matching Super-stretch waterproof trousers with the C-KNIT® backer (AXEL) are available in as many as 15 size options across waist and leg lengths. They include an elasticated waist and drawstring for the perfect fit; adjustable leg width; front pockets with fleece lining; a zipper fly opening and water-repellent zippers; and extra abrasion-resistant fabric on the leg hem.

The extremely breathable full-zip GORE-TEX Paclite® jacket in stretch fabric (APOLLO) features shaped sleeves for easy movement; front pockets; cuffs with partial elastic and close fastener tabs; and an elastic drawstring. Available in six colour options, with matching trousers (ARTHUR) in Navy & Black.

3-Level Warming Effect

Heading up the versatile INTERFACE-1™ range is the 3-level warming effect LYON jacket, now in four colourways (S-3XL). Windproof and extremely breathable, it features Primaloft® insulation padding on the chest and a GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ membrane. An elastic drawstring at the hem and partial elastic cuffs ensure a good fit. The full-zip, sleeveless body warmer (LIONEL) comes with two front pockets and a 2-level warming effect, while the popular LINCOLN lightweight half-zip jacket (1-level warming effect) has been extended to five colours (S-3XL).

For warmth in cool conditions, the latest INSULA™ layers feature a new standard in thermal comfort. The lightweight, breathable material used in the full-zip DECLAN jacket offers the softest surface ever for insulation next to the skin. It comes in four colours (S-3XL). The half-zip pullover in the same colours (DIXON), offers an outstanding warming effect and is soft next to the skin.

Other lines in the INSULA™ range include the DOLPH full-zip hoodie (S-XXL), the DIAZ body-warmer, plus the DAMIE jacket and DWIGHT pullover with front pockets and White/Sharkskin as one of six colour combinations (S-3XL).

The most striking shirt in the new VENTIL8™ PLUS collection is the MARKELL, featuring a shattering impact print, closely followed by the MALONE in flowing stripes and the MOSS with an impactful splash of colours. Completing the new shirt range is the super-patterned MARIO, while the long-sleeved MARC has White, Navy & Black options (S-XXL).

The design of the new houndstooth patterned trousers (NATE) is reflected in PACO shorts in two colour combinations, while NOAH trousers and PAOLO shorts come in eight colours, including Red and Lime.

New Women's Apparel

At the forefront of a fashionable range that looks different to any other on the golf course, the AURORA waterproof jacket in GORE-TEX fabric with a lightweight mesh lining has a two-way front zipper and pockets with fleece lining, plus an inside pocket for valuables. Extremely breathable, the sleeves are shaped for easy movement and an elastic drawstring at the hem ensures a perfect fit. Available in Deep Pink/White or Navy/White in XS-XXL, with matching ALANA trousers in GORE-TEX fabric with a solid lining and up to 15 sizes (XS-XL).

The lightweight ADELE jacket in GORE-TEX Paclite™ stretch fabric features a two-way water-repellent front zipper and is now available in Deep Pink as well as Navy and Black (XS-XXL), with ALEXANDRA trousers in the same colours.

Ladies’ INTERFACE-1 garments include the LORENE jacket with Primaloft™ front and back padding; the LIZL bodywarmer with a shiny two-way zipper; and the pattern printed LEONORE jacket in Cool Grey and Deep Pink (XS-XXL). Soft, warming comfort can be found with the DIXY full-zip INSULA™ jacket, plus the trendy DIANE full-zip hoodie. New VENTIL8™ cool layers include the MERCY sleeveless shirt and MISTY skirt combination (XS-XXL) and two others with a cotton/polyester blend, including MYRTLE with elbow length sleeves.
