What the club says: Arriving at Culcrieff it's natural to take a deep breath and relax. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

In every direction you'll be astounded by the breathtaking views. The warmest of welcomes awaits you in our small but cosy clubhouse. The food on offer will satisfy the hungriest golfer. And, at just under 5000 yards, the scorecard looks inviting too.

But don't be fooled.

There aren't many places in Scottish golf where the club player will have to work harder to play to his (or her) handicap.

The punitive rough and various out of bounds await to punish the reckless; but the thinking golfer (regardless of handicap) can usually negotiate his way safely onto the fairways of our testing course.

Fairly good condition, greens pretty good although course gets a bit hilly and tiring. Enjoyable though

The course was really nice and challenging but let down some what by small things but important things like bunkers with grass growing in them . The wee club house was okay but purchase a roll and pork sausages was very poor ( microwave job) not what you would expect form a place Crieff hydro and nor cheap

Hi, I had the good fortune to play this wee gem 23rd Aug. It was absolutely fantastic. For me the stand out feature were the greens. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone. It is hilly so make sure you are prepare for that but once you settle in you can enjoy the course & the stunning views. Well worth the money

Nice challenging course. Quite hilly but on a decent day (like today) it's a good test for any golfer. The carrot and ginger soup is to die for. Would love to play this course again.

Surrounded by mountains this course offers a genuine challenge even though it measures only 4984 yards off the back tees. The 2nd hole is particularly stunning as a green hidden away in the corner over a ditch awaits once round the dogleg but don't overshoot the green otherwise you land in one of the impressive chalets on the Crieff Hydro estate.

This course is part of the Crieff Hydro activity complex but it deserves so much more. It's quite a brilliant parkland/woodland course with lots of changes in elevation. The Par 4 12th Hole is only 285 yards but can throw up so many hazards. Excellent course, we paid £6 each!!!!!!

I played this course May 2006. The course then was relatively new, being part of Creiff Hydro Hotel. Some greens to next tee were a bit of a walk. Set in lovely country surroundings with great views. Some disruption to the otherwise totally peaceful surroundings by the Hotel's other activities e.g. Quad bike trails.
