Elite new course south of Lisbon
Dunas is just a FANTASTIC golf course. It's brand new but you wouldn't know it. The most finely conditioned course I've ever played, the fairways are immaculate and the greens roll true and slick. The bunkers occasionally have too much sand in them, but it's a fine detail that's not worth worrying over. The 12th hole is the only bug bear, with the white tees requiring a 240-yeard carry into the wind to make the fairway, which can be a challenge for even a low handicap golfer.So many signature holes, it's difficult to pick one or two out as highlights. The second, fourth, fifth tee, seventh tee, eleventh tee, thirteenth hole overall, eighteenth a majestic finish... It's as close - this side of the pond - to Augusta as you're going to get. A delight for the senses, and playable for all with the multitude of tee boxes. Once they get the main clubhouse built (hopefully behind the 18th green) the masterpiece will be complete.

Wow what a course! It's the only review I've given full marks, it really is that good. A great choice of tee boxes, wide fairways huge sandy wastes everywhere and in brilliant condition
