Gillyflower golf course
Lovely quiet golf course with decent views across the valley. Most people I've seen on the course is 6. Due to the plant and wildlife conservation the rough is extremely thick even in the winter so it really makes you think about club and course management. Plenty of birdie opportunities but also plenty of bogies to. The course is very well maintained. No driving range, putting green or club house as of yet but there are other local clubs to warm up if that's your thing and shops in the area to get food and drinks.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem!
Beautiful little course, 9 holes with two sets of tees. Picturesque and quiet, with a railway track, water and ecological areas included. I had the course to myself, returning to play a quick nine holes after checking the location on the previous day. Non-playing wife walked the course with me. It was stunning and I’d defo go back if it wasn’t 6 hours away!Reviewer Rating

Really fun, eco-friendly course
Fun and challenging course tucked away in North Cornwall, has spectacular views over the town and the castle on the hill. The course itself is quite testing, with lots of rough and some interesting features (the best being a giant oak tree which has fallen across one of the fairways) but extremely rewarding for the ambitious golfer. Free drops from their expanded rough was very much appreciated and keeps the course playable for all abilities. It is 9 holes but the 18 tees make each hole feel fresh, definitely doesn't become boring as you play. Will definitely be returning in 2023!Reviewer Rating

Great fun and environmentaly aware.
This is a great little course. It has only 9 greens but the separated tee's enable you to play 18 unique (ish) holes. The only hole that isn't significantly changed is the par 3 2nd/11th. However this hole is one of several standout holes on the course that make it great.
They have made great use of the land and its contours to provide some challenging holes and some teasing, potentially drivable, par 4s.
The course also has some lovely views as it plays alongside the river Fowey.
They have taken care of nature here too, with some proteted habitats turned into features that come with free drops that can sometimes help you out of trouble.
At just £20 for 18 holes its a bargain!
I would definitely play again and recommend it too to all standards.
(It only lost marks for the lack of club house which is awaiting planning permission).
