Unplayable under floodlights
I've played this course a fair bit. It's located conveniently, is relatively inexpensive and is OK for a practice. Last night, I played under floodlights for the first time. It will be the last. Once the ball gets more than 30ft of the ground you lose sight of the ball and unless you hit it dead straight, you spend ages looking for the balls. The course is also currently infested with mosquitoes.Reviewer Rating

Decent for a knock

Decent & Convenient
A decent, rather than remarkable track. A very tough opening hole and decent finishing hole, however, the par 4s are generally quite plain in a parkland type layout. Friendly staff and great for a quick nine holes(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 51 Handicap: )

So much for no water in the desert
The Track at Meydan may only be 9 holes in length, but it more than makes up for it in how the course sets up, with water in play on 6 of the 9. I've played here a few times now and each time it offers me yet another question. The monster 1st hole is always difficult to reach, and with firmer greens during the summer its even harder. Early morning tee times helped a little but by the time we started our back nine everything had dried out. Don't get me wrong, I like this place. I just wish I'd brought more balls on Saturday. One thing I didn't appreciate was the lack of marshals on the course. The pace of play of some 4 ball groups ahead of us was appalling.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 16.7)

Standard rate for a 9 hole course far too high. Issues with starter, payment and general hassle and stress to play the round. The course itself is nice but cannot be compared to Jebal Ali in terms of quality and has much higher general rate.

Good, very chime course, doesn't have much facilities but it has amazing views of the Dubai skyline. Very green, not so much sand, which makes it much more enjoyable.

Played 9 holes of night golf here. Course was in good condition and greens were excellent. Fairways are quite tight. You will drop shots if you don't keep the ball on the fairways as it's difficult playing out of sand and thick rough. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that ruined this experience for me was the lighting. It was poor and I expected it to be brighter especially when looking over at the racetrack which was bathed in bright light. Any shot hit over 200 yards was lost to the naked eye and left us all guessing where it may have landed resulting in lots of time hunting for balls which in the poor light is not straight forward.
