What The Club Says
Heythrop Park is one of the most historic Estates in England and in keeping with its status is now graced by a quintessential English golf course which meanders over ridges and through valleys and is studded with ancient woodland, lakes and streams.
The new 7,088-yard par 72 course is the handiwork of Tom Mackenzie, of the internationally-renowned golf course architects, Mackenzie & Ebert, who are currently working on four Open Championship venues.

Stayed and played through Easter weekend. Course was in very good condition and played well for the time of year and recent weather.A fantastic course, offering plenty of variety and differing levels of challenge.
The greens played fast, and I think another couple of weeks will see them back to full strength.

Played Easter weekend, weather held out, if a little breezy. Fantastic course and in very good condition for the time of year - especially the greens.Plenty of variety across 18 holes.

Hidden gem but awful tee boxes
Played 21st July for the third time in around 6 years. Its a great track, with some fantastic holes from around 4 to 15 but in poor condition.
With the recent lack of rain i expected brown fairways but not bare tee boxes.
Unfortunately it looks like they have no sprinklers on the tee boxes, so have completeley lost them.
However the greens were fantastic, great speed and very true, it was a chalk and cheese scenario.
I will play again as i think its a great track but not till next year now, as i feel the tee boxes and fairways will take some time to recover
Buggy definitely recommended as some long walks from green to next tee

Great greens
Well maintained course with very interesting and different holes. The greens were really quick and after two rounds with no putts holed over 6 feet, my playing partner and I were not surprised to learn the course had recently hosted a championship tournament. I could believe the slope was 122 but then I'm not that good! Friendly, good facilities, will revisit.Reviewer Rating
