What the club says: We believe that golfers deserve a high quality facility and thus much time has been spent installing a drainage system draining the fairways and greens. In addition, Broadlees Golf hosts one of the highest quality putting surfaces in Lanarkshire. The greens have been built to USGA standards providing a smooth putting surface all year round, winter greens should only be required in frosty conditions. The golf course is set up to accommodate all skill levels from beginner to the seasoned golfer. Quality from tee to green over nine holes ensures that you will enjoy your round, the only thing we cannot promise is to improve your score card.
With excellent facilities from start to finish including an indoor & outdoor driving range also a spacious coffee shop & snack bar, you & your family are guaranteed a great day out.

Great course

Great course, actually quite challenging but then I am a beginner! my final score was well over the par 36 so shows how bad I played lol. It was a very fun course, holes are laid out great with a couple of dog legs and plenty sand bunkers especially on the last hole! Ive not played many other courses to compare it to but it cost £16.50 at the weekend and paid another £8 on top to hire a buggy. Conditions were great underfoot, shame about the wind that day

Pleasant little course.
Good mix of par 3s,4s and 5s for a 9 hole course.
Well maintained. Greens quite slow though.

Great course with great greens

Excellent course, shame it had been heavy rain the day before as the fairways were quite spongy and the ball got plugged a few times.

Greens were in good condition despite the weather.

Would definately play again.

Good 9holes, very open and windy, good challage with plenty of OB, burns etc , greens were a bit hairy today, but more than playable. 2 reachable 5s, and a long par 4, and the par 3s are great holes.
I shot a 78 (6hcp) . Good value for £19 4/5 for me.

Well worth a visit! Fairways could do with a trim as the ball doesn\'t get a lot of run, but the greens are excellent and the course has some challenging holes especially when the wind blows. Have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful!

Played course today. Found it pretty tough though i did play terrible so kind of hard to tell. Thought the course had a nice layout with a couple of good holes. The tees fairway and semi rough were all alot longer than they should be and very spongey feeling. Fairways had next to no run and having a good lie was luck. Greens were good condition but possibly slightly slower than average. Not sure if its maybe just from being a reasonably new course but the grass just felt more like u would find in a field rather than a golf course. Also better yardage markers are needed. They are basically hidden and random colours instead of the usual red100 yellow 150 and white200. Ok for a round but if in area id go to playsport every time

Lovely course but still challenging with some long par fours. Greens are in tip top condition and there are some nice surprises all the way round. Great for me as a beginner but I believe a better standard of golfer would also find it worthwhile. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Cracking course, excellent challenge . . Has a traditional Scottish feel to it, due to the lack of forgiveness if you miss the fairways. Greens are in a1 condition as are the fairways. Would recommend to anyone. Ps the staff have always been friendly & helpful to me.

A decent enough 9 hole track if you want to hack your way round somewhere different to your usual course but the overall golfing “experience” leaves a lot to be desired. Clubhouse is essentially a Café which the “Starter” is manning as well taking the green fees. Needless to say you get the same sort of service you usually receive when ordering a toastie as you do when paying the rather steep fee to play the course itself – dour and as if it is a hassle that you actually want to play!!

The course itself is fair enough. Quite tough but essentially a well mown couple of fields that a farmer is seeking to utilise to alternative effect other than growing crops etc. I have played here probably about 10 times now and have yet to see a greenkeeper. Played on 20 June 2012 and greens were covered in sand which in the height of the golfing season is not what you expect.

Summary: ok if you fancy a change but there are far superior (and cheaper) 9 hole courses in the local vicinity that will give you a better golfing experience than Broadlees has to offer.

Played this today 1st july 11 for the first time. What a course this is .Greens are usga standard, and in tip top condition , as are the fairways. As a relative beginner i found some of the holes a bit challenging ,but thats part of the challenge, and the more experienced will love this course i think. Its a 9 hole (i went round twice)and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Will definately return for more .

I recently held a tournament in honour of my brother getting married here for 15 people and the staff and course were outstanding. The sun was shining all day the course was in superb condition a credit to the green keeper , the staff as ever were very helpfull especially lynn who delt with all my paperwork . Due to the set up of the driving range and practice putting green all 15 of us were able to use these before we played the 2 man buggies again made the day more special lunch was tasty and a cold beer on the veranda after 18 holes was very welcoming, i would recomend the course to anyone and im already considering this course for our next tournament.

As part of the management at Broadlees Golf i am very interested to hear the views of those playing the course. i will consider the value for money element however we are a private course where langlands and torrance are council courses which are heavily subsidised. At the moment we have 2 promotions running. firstly the off peak season ticket: Tee off before 4pm monday - friday and after 4pm saturday and sunday for £250.00 per year. In addition we have a loyalty card collect 10 stickers (ie play 10 rounds of golf) and get the 11th game free. These are both excellent value for money.
