When I got onto the first green i was taken aback at how poor the green was . Mown , but had not had any maintenance for a long time . The remaining greens lived up to the same standard . Yes , course layout was not too clear and teeing boxes were in need of attention too . I feel that some serious improvement is needed here . Played previous day at Tro on Links down the road and for much the same price this municipal setup was very good . The hotel running North G ail as needs to think about its priorities, spa hotel plus weddings , or better golf . Can't recommend this place at all . Go to Tro on Links.

Brilliant course
Course is really well kept and excellent to play, not that long but there are some very good holes to play(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 43 Handicap: )

Good for practice round
Tee locations need to be better signposted. No distance indicators apart from o tees. £10 foe nine holes is value for money(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 41 Handicap: )

Decent course for a summer evening round. Fairly short and with some poorly maintained tee areas but overall not bad for a quick nine holes.

the grass is a bit to long and rough is un playable at some points considering its a junior/beginners course, the rough means everyone gets caught up and holds everyone up
