Good Layout ,Long Walk but Tired
We played this course in Mid April. The course has a very interesting layout with some lovely holes but it is very hilly and does involve very long walks from green to tees which means taking a buggy is quite popular ( although they price these too high bearing in mind it would be needed for many). Sadly the greens were rather inconsistent and a bit slow. The tee boxes were in very poor condition and it does feel like it needs much more investment. However i think the wet winter has in fairness contributed to to this. There are some really great and challenging holes and it may well play much better in the summer months. The staff were all very welcoming and excellent hosts.Reviewer Rating
