Got a deal on wowcher, 2 player 18 holes and 50 range balls each for £12 so good value for money.
After seeing the good reviews we though it would be worth a trip down from Preston to play but the course didn't meet our expectations. The course seems to of been neglected since then end of the season and hence the grass on all of the course could do with cutting. The layout of the course could be better, there is 3 pars 3 over water but other than that the course is generally straight and flat. (boring)
The greens were the very inconsistent and difficult to read, some were very wet and ran slow and others ran quicker. Greens also needed cutting.

Groupon offer meant we could play the course and have 50 balls on the driving range for £5.50. Very good value. Greens excellent. The course is situated within Aintree Racecourse racetrack

Course has very good facilities there is a driving range a very nice putting area outside cafe area slightly expensive though overall the course isn't very challenging as it is straight and level greens are well kept at this time of year and currently they are doing some minor improvement to the course but not challenging enough very good course great for warm up games

First time playing this course and was very surprised at the standard of the fairways and greens considering the weather we have had.
The staff at club house were very friendly and helpful and apart from a few puddles which are totally unavoidable with this weeks weather was a great day.

A lot of water on the course, boggy in places but liked the course for the first time out.

the course fairways were severely waterlogged but greens and teeing area were really good considering all the rain we have had lately. £8 for 9 holes or £10 for 18 i think is really good value and nice course just a shame i could'nt complete 18 holes but my feet were soaked!!!!!!!

A pleasant little 9 hole in a unique setting that really adds character. Real shame the course was too busy to get round for 18 but I managed 9 in a little over an hour so ideal for a very quick round if you're local. All in good condition and very helpful in the shop.

this my regular course which me and freinds play every week. a great course for beginners. the 4,5,6 holes offer a good challenge as these holes play over water hazards, which always offer the dilema, go over or go round. the rest of the holes have good fairways, and large greens, which could have a bit more protection.

The downside to this course is it only has 9 holes. Great fairway, needs more bunkers, and the rough could do with being a little bit longer. Fantastic location though. Has a driving range under shelter which is also great.
