What the club says: Airthrey is a 9-hole, par-3 parkland course situated within the grounds of the University of Stirling.
Set between the historic Airthrey Castle and the scenic University loch, the course provides breathtaking views of the Ochil Hills and the Wallace monument, the magnificent memorial to Scotland’s Braveheart, Sir William Wallace. The Airthrey Course is just over 1,000 yards long. It has a host of interesting holes. It is ideal for golfers of all abilities

Community par 3 course. Greens aren't in the greatest condition but overall the course is in decent nick. No clubhouse to speak of, toilets and juice machines. It's on the uni campus though so bars and restaurants close by.

The setting is outstanding. Wonderful views of the Ochil hills, Aithtey Castle, and the Wallace Monument. Loads of lush trees and hills in places, the course and surroundings look fantastic.

Shame they got rid of the 7th hole, it was a cracker, now it's the shortest on the course.

Overall enjoyed it, good value at a fiver

a nine hole par 3 course set in the uni grounds the seventh is the most challening as the green is above the height of the tee over and above that a straight forward course
