The course was in a shocking condition. All the expections about designer (Montgomerie) and price (180,- euro) never came through. A public course for the price of an exclusive club. I never played with such bad fairways and greens. They didn't give us a discount on the course. Everybody can play they don't asked for a HcP card.

Course in very poor condition. Greens sanded and a lot of fairways disturbed. But a great course when good

No coffee on beverage buggy 8-(( every time they come when we are near the hospitality hut

Course is nice but expensive. Decent condition and great service on the whole. We used entertainer vouchers on the day and it was still over 400 AED for the round midweek.

Another top course and top price. long with loads of hazards water etc enjoyed it very much played in a society with a great bunch of guys which made it so much better again buggy included. in price personally I would sooner walk around get more of a feel for the course but they do like to keep you moving slow play is frowned on found all the course I played in Dubai were busy busy busy.

An Established Gem
The Monty tends to get overlooked when visitors are looking for Dubai golfing experience - which is a shame as it is one of the nicest courses in the city. There are some good deals to be ad online and if you are a mid handicapper looking for a challenge then try the sapphire tees. Quirky holes may not be to your taste but see past the few of them and you're in for an enjoyable round on a well cared for golf course.Reviewer Rating

Great Course
The Montgomerie is a great course and very challenging without being unplayable for the average golfer. The course is in very good condition which is better than you should expect considering the time of year and the current weather conditions. It is normally excellent.Reviewer Rating

The course was (and usually is) in great condition. In general it's quite a forgiving course with a lot wide fairways and open rough. Not a true test for a top golfer (though I've never played from the black tees) but an excellent social day to have with friends. Practice facilities are about the best I've ever seen and the clubhouse is first class

Really good course that has bit of everything, water, heavy bunkers. 9th and 18th certainly a stern test to end the front and back 9. There are holes that are set up to give you chances of birdie if you drive it well.Reviewer Rating
