First round of a tour and it was a bit of a struggle. Facilities very nice and fairways were good. Tough course made harder by condition of greens which were bumpy and sandy with objects on them. Decent course though.

Went with a group of 12. Have been going to various courses around the Marbella area for years so my review is in relation to what other courses are like.
Course design is good and pretty tight.Very tough for high handicappers. DO NOT just blast away with a driver unless you have a good supply of balls. Fairawys decent as are tee boxes.
However greens are absolutely ABYSMAL. The worst I have ever played in the Marbella area.This is such a shame as it ruins what could be an excellent course. Santa Clara which we played the next day is what one would expect from a golf couse in the Marbella area - fantastic nick - greens superb. Date played Oct 2012 HCP 9

Too many lost balls
Not a course to spray it about. Pace of play was painfully slow due to 4 ball 2 in front who never seemed to be ready to play when it was their turn.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 115 Handicap: 32.7)

Tight
This is a seriously tight golf course and if you stray too far off line you risk loosing a lot of balls!(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.8)

Very very tricky and definitely one of the toughest in the region. High handicapers will have no fun whatsover on this super tight course (front 9)...

Amazingly tough and challenging course very tight fairways especially of a few holes, I am a 5 handicap and wow I struggled with this course. Would love to play again as I would play a lot of holes very differently. Course is fantastic condition, green, lush and greens fast and true. Staff were not the friendliest so we didn't stay on for lunch and a drink.

I found this a tough course. Tight fairways but difficult to start with a mid iron on many holes due to trouble between you and fairway. Great facilities - bar, putting green and range.

Inrecible course with enormously challenging terrain, narrow (sloping) fairways, great greens and in combination probably one to play a few times to get to know

Played this in Feb. Return visit as it was such a good venue last time. It's tight in places but unlike some other courses it is fair with landing areas that don't punish a good shot. Great staff and the course was in very good condition. Highly recommended

interesting and well kept course with a number of natural hazzards. Parts are very tight with changes of elevation and blind shots. Greens very well kept and pace of play was very good.

Seven of us played Los Arqueros on 25th Sept 2009. It's a lovely looking course, great facilities and the course was in superb condition. Our handicaps ranged from 12-21.
Unless you can hit the ball extremely straight (every time), or are having one of those days where everything is going right, this course is a Toughie!!!
Enjoyable to play, but if your handicaps are anything like ours, take a bucket of balls.

A real challenge
A superb golf course, starts with a few 'easier' holes and seems to get progressively harder before easing off again as your round concludes. Some very tight fairways - be prepared to lose a few balls and score highly, but a really enjoyable challenge.Reviewer Rating
