Played here as a member in the mid 80`s,
The course is a very sandy course thus the name i exspect
Course was ok but members did not like British winning any trophies (lol)
Good thing was that 9th and 18th holes both ended up at the clubhouse where you could get your breakfast and drink halfway round and you neede it as it was a long dry course
