So disappointed
After playing today with 2 friends, the first stop on our Irish golf tour, I can’t express how disappointed we all were with the staff( or lack of). Not the first time in Ireland, in fact K club is our 15th Irish course played over 3 trips. Never, I mean never have we had such poor service. From the time we checked in, where the pro shop staff never even said hello! Just continued talking about their upcoming weekend plans, not even eye contact!!! I’ve had warmer welcomes at McDonalds. From there out to … where are we going? Asked a outside cart person “ Where’s the first tee? “I don’t know”. I swear to god, we drove around until we found it. No starter… should we go? Who knows? We just teed off. Played our round, no one at the clubhouse or pro shop when we were done. I have never…ever played even the smallest Muni club where the entire interaction with staff was a total of 2, that’s right 2 sentences, and those not in the least helpful. We paid full freight, £576 euros and not even a hello. The sad thing is it was one our parties 1st trip to Ireland. Needless to say he was underwhelmed. The management at K Club should be ashamed, but I truly doubt they know or care.Reviewer Rating

Unoftunately not very well maintained. Bunkers shabby and the fairways long.
Outside of the club house looking worn, but inside facilities good.
A little disappointing for the €65 paid.
Course could be very good with a little TLC.

A tough course that tested the skills of our team. We thought we had done enough to win with 94 but we were miles way from the winners enclosures (top six went from 97 to 105 with two to count everywhere). Some bunkers had a little grass growing in them which was quite surprising for a course of this quality. Food was good in the club house but service in the bar was poor.

My favourite back 9 in all Parkland golf. Very risk & reward and good fun if you’re playing 4 Ball better ball match play

Well priced compared with other top courses in ROI and a Ryder cup venue ticked off the list. Good prices available if you tee of early / twilight
