Top Testing Course

Greens were very testing due to the dry conditions and undulations. Service of staff second to none, so helpful and friendly

not as good as it has been in the past because of the greens but the course is lovely.

the outdoor bar staff were rubbish.

the golf staff are always 10/10

Nice course as you'd expect for the price. Paid £99 post 2pm twilight rate which is still bloody expensive and it's hard to say it's worth it especially if you pay the 'normal' summer green fee which appears to be £170. Glad I played it though as was staying at the hotel itself so would have been silly not to. Very friendly in the proshop in and around the club as you'd expect. Course played well and greens were good though a bit less receptive than I would have expected. Course was interesting to play and a good test. Unlikely to play again given the associated cost.

Fabulous facility and the staff were brilliant. Very friendly and they couldn't do enough to help. The course is very long and pretty tough although fair. The greens a fantastic. Fast and true. There are great little touches such as tees, yardage charts, ball markers, pitch mark repairers and range ball all included which is great but it is expensive to buy anything else. £23 in the halfway hut for three sausage rolls and four coffees. £22 for four drinks, two of which were soft. Not being cheap but this was a bit of a shame as you would spend more if it was more reasonable.

Excellent welcome, excellent golf course, the greens were fantastic, a little quicker than we are used to!!! Would recommend to anybody, but be warned, it is long...

The Club are preparing the course for the British Masters and the fairways and bunkers are looking great. The greens are coming on and should be fantastic for the event. Great practice facilities and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The Stables is a great place to relax after a round for some food and a drink.
