great course
great course and one I've wanted to play for a while.considering the rain we had it was pretty dry and the greens were a decent pace with lots of very subtle breaks.
all the staff were friendly.
my company has a corporate golf arrangement with lots of clubs so this was a freebie but I am not sure I would pay to play there out of my own pocket

This in my view is a lovely track. Most holes are quite memorable in one way or another. Our only gripe was the tee boxes were poor. Greens were very good and consistent.
The club have done a first class job regarding COVID and thank the lovely lady on reception for her upbeat rapport.

Greens fast , rough or the second cut very unforgiving ie wispy ; bunkers need more sand , tee boxes good , fairways need a water

The grove is a full day experience. From the moment you arrive you are looked after by helpful staff
The course is always in fantastic condition no matter when you play. It’s a tough layout but in a good way - it’s still enjoyable - but you will 3 or even 4 putt from the wrong place on a sloppy fast green
Expensive but great as a once or twice a year treat
Highly recommend adding this to the must play list

Top Testing Course

not as good as it has been in the past because of the greens but the course is lovely.

Nice course as you'd expect for the price. Paid £99 post 2pm twilight rate which is still bloody expensive and it's hard to say it's worth it especially if you pay the 'normal' summer green fee which appears to be £170. Glad I played it though as was staying at the hotel itself so would have been silly not to. Very friendly in the proshop in and around the club as you'd expect. Course played well and greens were good though a bit less receptive than I would have expected. Course was interesting to play and a good test. Unlikely to play again given the associated cost.
