Not played here for several years and the course appeared unkept in places. Many of the tee boxes had very little grass on them in places there looked to have been no attempt to re seed bare areas any where. No food available in the 19th at 2.00pm in the afternoon and the staff seemed not interested in providing a service.

tees and fairways were in good nick but the greens were terrible. remains of last years drought all over the greens, dry, scarred and hard. layout is good if you want to spray it around, at one point (6th tee i think) you have any of 5 fairways to hit and still have a 2nd shot. I play here in local leagues regularly and have seen it much better than it has been in recent yearsReviewer Rating

First 5 holes pretty straight forward and nice after that you encounter a lot of fairways grouped together with the word "fore" shouted pretty regularly! Not sure the index on the 4th hole is correct as it's down as stroke index 2 but there's certainly more harder holes than that one. Greens like most coming out of winter not the best but some much quicker than others.

Very Nice course, however booked on direct tee times and when we arrived they said not got booking so had to wait 45 mins for the only(supposedly) free slot even though in that time only 3 groups went out!

Fairway camber makes it very difficult to make shots stick on the fairways. Nice course with some challenging holes but also gives lots of opportunities to score well.

Getting there still a bit boggy in parts but thats Yorkshire weather for you.
A poor show from the clubhouse though as no bar open on bank holiday Monday with course very busy.

First time I have played the course. I play off 28, new ish player. Enjoyed the course with its wide fairways and quite forgiving. Muddy conditions (due to poor January 2013 weather) but course and greens still very reasonable compared to other courses i have played over last couple of months. Have to make a real mistake to loose a ball so good for beginners. Good value at £15 a round.

Fairly varied and undulating course
Parkland course built on the side of a hill so plenty of up and down. One or two holes rely on direction posts, which I never like. Prepare for one precipitous climb between holes on the back nine after the 14th. You may want a rest before your next drive if you're not up to a six minute mile.Reviewer Rating

Nice views and hilly
If you are from the east side of Bradford and know the area well, you’d be impressed by the views from this course and you can see as far as Ilkley Moor. I must have took dozens of photographs and often tried to work out what were the areas that I could see.The course is a good physical workout with many inclines to walk up. The type of course where you wish you bought that electric golf trolley instead.
The hill adds an interesting 3D aspect to the course, with some putting greens on different levels to the tee box or fairway. The 12th hole is the only hole where I wanted to play off the white tees, so it was like teeing off a mountain top.
As a high handicapper I found this course forgiving, there’s no water hazards, bunkers were infrequent and putting greens were on the large size.
However, I’m uncertain this course justifies its green fees, as the course needed care and maintenance in places. Tee signs were missing and the fairway grass was so poor in places that I couldn’t work out what was the rough and what was the fairway (I even lost a ball in the middle of the 11th fairway). Some putting greens looked over spiked and not a smooth surface.
To conclude, I’d go here for the views on a nice sunny day and it’s interesting hillside. But the course conditions don’t justify the green fees when other courses that are the same price are in immaculate condition.

Very pleasantly surprised
Having played the neighbouring Calverley GC most of this year we thought we'd give Woodhall Hills a spin, expecting more of the same, but they are leagues apart yet similarly priced (twilight). My nephew and I both thoroughly enjoyed this course. Very scenic, challenging and in great condition. Friendly welcome in the pro shop. Some might require a buggy due to the hilly nature of the course.Reviewer Rating

Great afternoon
Had played this course quite a few years ago and always liked it, and it didn't disappoint today. Really good layout that is straight forward but a fair bit of walking, all in great condition and will definitely be back again.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 16.4)

Challenging
A challenging course mainly due to the fact so many shots are not on the flat. Throw in lots of hills and it's hard work. Sadly the rain over the winter left a lot of boggy ground despite a week of decent, dry weather with some sunshine. This has done the greens no favours with a number of greens with bare marks, sandy and bumpy in places.Thsnkfully the price (£12) reflected the conditiond and was good value.
