What the club says: Stunning par 72, 18 hole golf course, often described as the best parkland golf course in North Devon. The course is a tough test off the competition tees, yet the day tee's offer the all the visual impact, whilst allowing the visiting golfer a more relaxed game

Most tees were from the matts but no a problem. All fairways were firm and no standing water.
Greens were mostly firm with only the odd wet area.
The backdrop of this golf course is beautiful. You can see the rolling hills of Devon.
The price was very good as I played with a member only £10 for 18 holes.
The staff and friendly and helpful as are the locals.
I will return later this year to hopefully play in the sunshine !!!!

Some very nice holes and testing over some water hazards.
Greens played slow but that is understandable.
Fairways had a cut but all the cuttings were left on the fairways.
Not a bad place for the price. 30/8/13

Greens played well and true. Rain made them nice and soft. Worth a visit for any golfer.
Will be playing there again on my next holiday but I think I may get a buggy !!!!

In general I was impressed with the course. Some great par 3s over water - the 10th was a favourite, 120 yards over a lake to an island green. The 18th is a difficulty par 5 with very little room for error from the tee or the second shot.
A course in great condition, with some testing holes and great scenery. Would go back there if in the area again.
