What The Club Says
This popular Heathland course with views of Lichfield Cathedral in the distance is well situated in the Midlands, on the A51 between Lichfield and Tamworth (next door to Whittington Barracks), is easily accessible to the midlands motorway network and is close to the M6 toll road.
The course is a good test for golfers of all levels. The course wends its way through heather and gorse and you will need to keep on the straight and narrow to score well.

Will be great again

Great course
In 5 years time this course will be fantastic, the new holes that need to mature a bit, blending with the old holes will make fire a really interesting course. At the moment it is still a great test though.Reviewer Rating

My favourite course
Despite undergoing some changes due to HS2, the course is still fantastic, and the greens immaculate. HS2 is bringing a new clubhouse and 5 new holes, as well as brand new bunkers on every hole.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 86 Handicap: 15.7)

Nice heathland course
Traditional heathland course with firm fairways requiring good ball control to score well. Very well kept and well worth a visit if in the area.Reviewer Rating
