What the club says: The Westerwood is one of the premier golf hotels in Scotland our magnificent 18 hole, par 71 golf course is a feast for the senses, transporting you as you meander through a paradise of silver birches, firs and heather.
The course was designed by Seve Ballesteros and Dave Thomas and features a wide range of challenges for golfers of all abilities, including water hazards and devilish bunkers, which would challenge players of the highest calibre.
The course is surrounded by sparkling scenery with many holes overlooking the Kilsyth and campsite hills. Our fifteenth hole designed by Seve himself is stunning, at only 165 yards will take your breath away. Hitting from above to a green surrounded by a 60ft rock face, pond this is not for the faint hearted.

Golf Course Reviews for Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort
(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18.9)
The course was very wet when I played it and was almost under water in parts. Despite these conditions, I enjoyed the game as the course is challenging and fairly well kept. The greens I felt were slow but this might have been due to the weather conditions on the day. It is quite a tiring course to play as there are several holes where there are very long walks from the green to the next tee.
With every other course I have played lately, the conditions have been amazing with the mixture of sun and rain, though here it was terrible. Very wet under foot and the Tees were in a shocking state, struggle to find a patch of grass to tee off! It's a very challenging course with a good layout, just ruined by the condition of it.
