An excellent course, some of the holes are very spectacular and beautifully laid out. Would definitely recommend.

The course overall was great and challenging, yet the greens were unpredictable and weren't great. Narrow fairways mean that you have to play safe with an iron or be on your a game with the driver

I've played both the 18 hole course and the par 3 9 hole course as as a friend is a member of the 9 hole course. I enjoy it every time I play and feel like the course just continues to improve every time especially with new owners, Martin & Debbie.

The front 7 are some of the toughest holes I've played (mid-high handicapper) with tight fairways and lots of large trees. The par 3 220 yard up the hill through the tight trees 7th should be on the pro circuit (Martin is looking to change this I think!). The remaining holes are not as interesting but still enjoyable - you feel like you can relax once you've got over the initial 7 holes.

It would appear most members play here in the morning so in the afternoon you feel like you are the only ones on the course. The view from the driving range is one of the best - looking towards the South Downs.

The clubhouse is simple but friendly. Not sure of the current food offerings but they offer a restaurant dining experience if numbers allow (book in advance). Good beer on offer too (Doom Bar).

If you have not been here and want a good value enjoyable round you'd be a fool not to give it a go.

A pleasant little parkland course with nice greens. Some shared with other holes, leaving the potential for some very long putts!
There's some good green fee deals to be had here that make it excellent value.

I went along to West Chiltington for a Christmas game, and despite the recent heavy rain the course was still as attractive as other reviewers have mentioned. The course itself was in great condition and there were no winter tees or greens in play. I was especially impressed by the long par 5's which really gave an opportunity to get out the driver - even though I then sliced it into the trees!

The new management made me feel really welcome, offering a mince pie along with a couple of excellent pints of beer and a great sausage roll. I'll definitely be back to see how the course plays in better weather! Worth sniffing this one out.

This is one of the best courses i've played and being a reletivly new golfer its pretty forgiving for the odd miss hit shot. It is very hilly on the front 9 and a real test of your fitness, but the back 9 are quite flat and alot easier. Overall a absolute gem of a course.

The Notes say it all, the course is a really panoramic spectacular. Its tight in places so much so that i ended up having to take long iron off some of the tees. You can open your shulders later on in the round, especially some really great little holes lined by Stone walls. The course undulates massively to begin with. So beware of your fittness. Its very well bunkered, and the tees are mostly all elevated, which is why i enjoyed the views and belting a driver later on. The rough was quite pennal early on, and the 2nd was a really good test of a drive and long iron. Its quite tough in the first 5 holes. The greens were small, well bunkered, and later on I did play one of the best Bunler shots from what i can only say was a bunker that was vertical and 11 ft high in face to a long thin green. My playing partner bet me i couldnt do it again. and i did. eat your haert out Mr player. Play it in the summer its a real treat and the fcailities were really good. Good practice, good reasonably priced food, and good staff. Well worth a visit.
