Fantastic course
Brilliant course !!! Fastest greens I've played in years, not a bobble in sight. A couple of greens had still got sand from maintenance so when there sorted jesus they'll be quick ???? brilliant pro shop, brilliant clubhouse.just an all round fantastic golf club.Reviewer Rating

Interesting course in good condition. A bit up and down and the adjacent M1 means there's plenty of traffic noise, but fairways and greens were in great condition for April.

Lovely Course
Played in late August. Course was in really good condition, greens were superbly presented, running consistent and true. Some really pretty holes on the course, first is a bit of an insight into the up and down nature of the course, straight up, but a lovely wide fairway - not that I used it. 8th hole was probably standout for me, really well set up. Provides a fair test for all abilities and would definitely come back if I was in the area.Reviewer Rating

Tankersley winter course

Bad start, they had lost my booking even though they had the request for a buggy. The course proved difficult too, the greens were as always immaculate but very fast and tricky.
On entering the 19th no food was available because it was Wednesday ? Also the buggy picked up a puncture and had to be changed at the 13th. Not a great day, and a poor attitude from the staff too.

Played here today Friday 2/6/23. Very good course. Challenging (especially today with some pin positions). Everything well looked after, no issues whatsoever Nice and friendly staff. Lovely positioned clubhouse.one of the best local courses for hospitality and course management. Highly recommend. Big thankyou and thumbs up to everyone at Tankersley. Good course design

No complaints whatsoever
Played today (X10 of us). Not one of us had any thing bad to say about the course. Even those who lost loads of balls and had nightmare rounds (including me). Greens in exceptional condition. Bunkers plenty of sand in them and even tee boxes well maintained . So well done to all parties concerned.Haven't played it for a few years due to covid and price increases but managed to get a good deal for today, so thank you for that Tankersley. Cannot recommend it enough. But beware it is not is an easy course. Some very challenging holes due to the undulating fairways. But do not let this put you off as the course is a pleasure to play.Thanks again Tankersley and hopefully will play you again in the near future

One of the best in the area

Great course worth playing
Wow what a find. Have passed this course many a time visiting my Daughter and decided to give it a whirl. Friendly welcome in pro shop. Nice looking clubhouse. Great looking first hole from the clubhouse. Course in superb condition, greens mint, for me ideal speed. Lovely track
Found the course in excellent condition with tee boxes as good as some greens we've played and greens like billiard tables, fast and true but nowhere near as flat!Paid £30 and, given the pristine condition of the course, we considered it good value for money.
Some "interesting" holes which were made more manageable thanks to my shrewd investment in a course guide from the pro shop.
We'll definitely be paying Tankersley Park another visit, or two.

Couple of years since we played here, the greens are magnificent as always ,but I thought the tees and parts of the course had not weathered well through the winter and not recovered through the lockdown either.

Looked nice, but on full temps :-(
We were out of luck as the day after a glorious day, we pre-booked this course and arrived to find full temps. For ?15 the course was still ok, but its never the same. Looks like it could be a lovely good weather course with some interesting holes. Food was also great and Members were really inviting and chatty. We will return, but on this occasion I can only say it was disappointing. Having temps completely out of view of the tee with no indication of where they are, shows they aren't thinking about visitors. Maybe a laminated sign on the floor by the tee with the position and yardages would help ?Reviewer Rating

very wet due the heavy rain over the weekend it was hard going a lot of the course was cordoned off to protect the course will play it again although would probably wait until its a bit drier. I would only recommend it to friends when its a bit drier
