Played in a society day on 29th Jan so expected the course not to be at it's best however first (slight ie - 1) frost for over two weeks and the whole course on temp tees and greens !!!! No review of green condition during the day but still charged £20 per person. . . . after negotiation . Temp greens were simply 12ft circles in the middle of the fairway approx 50yds in front of the proper greens so very short course and a total putting lottery. More than a dozen people wasted our time and
money on what appears to be quite a good course but more effort required by greenkeeping staff and club management.

Bad start, they had lost my booking even though they had the request for a buggy. The course proved difficult too, the greens were as always immaculate but very fast and tricky.
On entering the 19th no food was available because it was Wednesday ? Also the buggy picked up a puncture and had to be changed at the 13th. Not a great day, and a poor attitude from the staff too.

Wasn't very impressed, could play far better places for the money, very hilly, members stuck up, bar man dubious of us, couldn't smoke on OUTSIDE balcony!

Couple of years since we played here, the greens are magnificent as always ,but I thought the tees and parts of the course had not weathered well through the winter and not recovered through the lockdown either.

Looked nice, but on full temps :-(
We were out of luck as the day after a glorious day, we pre-booked this course and arrived to find full temps. For ?15 the course was still ok, but its never the same. Looks like it could be a lovely good weather course with some interesting holes. Food was also great and Members were really inviting and chatty. We will return, but on this occasion I can only say it was disappointing. Having temps completely out of view of the tee with no indication of where they are, shows they aren't thinking about visitors. Maybe a laminated sign on the floor by the tee with the position and yardages would help ?Reviewer Rating

very wet due the heavy rain over the weekend it was hard going a lot of the course was cordoned off to protect the course will play it again although would probably wait until its a bit drier. I would only recommend it to friends when its a bit drier

Needs work on it

We played on the hottest day of the year and boy did we know it. Don't play if you like an easy walking course. It was in very good condition but it was in the middle of a glorious summer.

Played this twice earlier this year and im glad i didnt have to pay full rate with my 2 fore 1 vouchers. There is a killer 1st hole with one nice slope that is worse than it looks (glad its the 1st hole)
