Quality for council course
Generally holes are easy layout, so you get a good round. Couple of tricky holes though. Excellent conditon being a council course. Definitely worth a round or two. Great for an after work 9 holes.Reviewer Rating

Love it

Cracked little 9 hole
Playing all through the Winter. Only 1 winter Green in play.Great chipping and putting facilities.
I'm summer Greens are amazing.

My local course, play it once a week and love it! Still can't believe how well maintained it is for a municipal course. Par 5's are a bit short ( I've only been playing since last summer and already can hit both greens in 2 with shoddy 2nd hand clubs!) but challenging nevertheless, the par 3's are fiendishly difficult to hit and a couple of cracking elevation changes throughout the course. Highly recommended for a quick 9 holes.

Was at charity day course was in great nick the guys a played with couldn't believe this is a municipal course hospitality great only thing missing was a beer the starters do a great job trying to accommodate everyone cheers

A lovely little municipal course. The greens were very nice indeed. They were almost as good as some of the best private courses I have played this year. The fairways were nicely manicured. Some of tee boxes were a bit tatty, but this is to be expected on a council run course. I would definately play here again if I am back in this area.

This is my local course , and its a 9 hole course, with holes of varied easiness and difficulty.As a relative beginner i find this course manageable though. My lowest score being a 45. Or 92 playing 18 holes. All in all great value at £5.30 during the week , but no clubhouse . Give it a try id say.

i play here regularly,brilliant course well worth the money and well taken care of staff in starters office are very helpfull my favourite 9 hole :-) only let down is there is no clubhouse .
