What the club says: Set in 140 acres of beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Staverton Estate was opened in 1977 and has matured quickly. The 6,602 yard championship standard course has a number of lakes and over 60 bunkers peppered round it, while its large, suspended water table greens allow consistent play all year round. A good challenge to all levels of golfer, there is also a driving range available for a quick warm-up before your 18 holes.Read our full review

DELIGHTFUL COURSEGREAT COURSE .ALL HOLES WERE DIFFERENT WITH INTERESTING CHANGES IN ELEVATION. COURSE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. GREENS WERE SUPERB
(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.8)
Really nice course.Nice course, steady challenge. Can't fault it really, and great value for money.
(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 8.7)
Good CourseNice course - spoilt by the idiot in the pro shop letting a society of 6 4 balls go off early on the 10th. Having played 9 amd being held up for 45 mins on the 10th Tee we left!
MrThe course was in very good condition considering the very hot weather the tee boxes and greens were very green and lush, but the greens were exceptionally difficult to read but all in all the cause was very good

Well done Staverton GC.

Easter ???? weekendNice hotel golf getaway. The weather was wet all weekend but the course itself is great . Very hilly but ideal for long drives. Wide fairways, Driving range practice putting green excellent club house pool just ideal for friends and families.
Staverton estate golf clubGreat venue course in good condition greens and fairways heavy spiked to help drainage good pro shop but poor food and drink section closed just a coffee machine?

Nice courseIt was a wet day - Course closed for an hour before we played.
Great greens good bunkers and a nicely varied course.
Fantastic buffet breakfast in the conservatory restaurant..
Celebrity guests too..
5hr round in the winter series ????£25 for the winter series event, including bacon roll, coffee and range balls, Greens in fantastic condition for October. But try getting a good lie in the fringes #Shocking muddy & horrid.
Golf website is also shocking tbh, pro shop staff very friendly and helpful, course is maturing nicely and a good test. Its not the club it once was, when the Mutch brothers ran the events.

okIn summer it may be decent, I think it was ok. Played off the whites made it better and to be honest the back 9 has a lot of character but I remember getting a bit bored on the front 9. However it could be argued that I have become a bit of a course snob with some of the great courses I have played.

Good Golfbreak hotel location.Interesting undulating course with a fair few trees and some tight holes. Visited on a 3 round 2 night stay at De Vere which was good value. Given the course is 6200 yards off the gold and 6600 off the black, reckon a round taking over 4 and a half hours minimum as you will more than likely come across some of the usual slow play characteristics we saw on all 3 days meaning a wait on virtually every tee. No evidence of any effective time marshalling. This said Staverton is an enjoyable course in good nick.

Society weekendAnnual society, good golf course very slippery greens, course was in great condition, hotel v good too, well worth a society event, one down side, a bit slow even with marshalls patrolling.

Staverton - northantsPlayed on a sunny day at the end of May in a 4 ball. Got started on time and didn't get held up on the way through at all.Good conditions but greens were bit quick for me and my first round of the year!
