This is a tight course but very well kept howevver some of the bunkers could do with a bit more sand.

Greens were a bit hard to read as they've had problems and were a bit bumpy, fairways, rough and bunkers were all good and the lady who worked behind the bar at the 19th keeping us all watered worked tirelessly and deserved a big thanks.

Nice course to play, could do with more signs to help navigate around the course, and also could do with more bells to let poeple know that it's clear to tee off. 11th and 14th holes you have to share the fairways which could be a bit tricky if the course is busy, but on the whole a nice course to play.

i have now played this course a number of times. it is physically challenging, however, all the holes bring something different to your game. its a very tight course, but the greens were immaculate. great friendly clubhouse and very helpful staff.

The course held up well in the windy and laterly wet weather. Sadly what lets this course down is the mindless idiots who parade through the back nine area on bikes, take flags out and throw them in the bushes. These schoolchildren should know better but note this is a National Trust area which allows anyone to walk the course. From a perspective of a golf challenge the par 4 11th hole is a delight and worth the index one.
We will revisit and not leave it 15 years but will take an early tee time.
