Great golf course greens fanatic fairways need a little cut but can't wait to play it again staff very nice as well

1st time playing Runcorn, very enjoyable, will definitely play again, well kept course with some tricky holes, if you go off line you can record a big score, now we know what to expect next time I expect to record a better score, give it a try you won't be disappointed

I played Runcorn alone on a day after torrential rain. I was met by a very friendly assistant pro who gave me good advice on finding my way around the course. The heavy rain resulted in some bunkers having water in them, otherwise the course is in excellent condition, particularly the greens. I will return with my golfing friends to see if they enjoy as much as I did

Nice course setting, very pretty. Greens well maintained, some challenging, holes on some slopes increasing risk which influenced high scores, but what I welcome and enjoy. Fairways a touch long, but ok, not a problem for me, but some may complain about this. Course mainly straight and all holes tree lined, driver therefore need to be straight for good scoring. Nice touches like wooden benches, sign posting for tee direction, bins all clean, all ball washes full and soapy, sand / soil bins available on tees to repair divots. Friendly place and people. Course busy with much traffic, but speed of play acceptable. Would recommend course and will definitely visit again, soon. Most enjoyable, nice club and course.
