course has closed down due to hs2 ruining the area and its golf courses had the potential to be a great course just let down by hillingdon council not investing into it

Good course for a public course & price is reasonable.
Fairways in good condition but some greens look rough & patchy & some tee-off boxes look like your playing of dirt which is a shame. Course is overall good to play and can be challenging too.
We played from the whites as it's just 5,571 yards still short compared to most just over 6,000 yards you need to enhance your game. Yellow is 5,320 yards and ladies red is 5,141 yards.
Driving range is ok too for 50 or 100 balls.
Free parking after 9am & before that but you have to get a display card from the pro shop.
Sadly the course is suppose to be shutting down I heard in Sep/Oct time due to railway expansion.

Ruislip GC and H2. A match not made in heaven
With the H2 rail works ongoing Ruislip is taking a bit of a hit to the course. Holes 17 and 18 are now 1 and 2 with the rest of the course following on by 2 numbers, ie 1 is now 3, 2 is now 4, etc. Holes 3 and 4 are hampered by the H2 rail works and there is no putting green at present, but this may change. The course is holding up pretty well even after the recent rainfall over the past 2-3 weeks. The greens aren't bad and only a couple of fairways had puddles and standing water. All in all for ?14 on a weekday, its worth a visit before its totally decimated by H2.

Ruislip is quite short but it does have a couple of tricky holes. The greens were in good nick but the tee boxes and fairways have suffered with the lack of rain. After 3pm the round will only set you back £11, which is amazing value for money.

Good value for money, but don?t expect too much of a challenge
A reasonable lay out if a little short - if you're straight or long off the tee you'll be fine. Decent protection for most of the greens, but the bunkers that are there aren't in great condition - sand is shallow and there are no rakes.
Course doesn't respond well to weather and gets boggy very quickly in the rain, and then parched in the dry. However, green fees are very reasonable.

Surprisingly dry considering the snow and rain in recent weeks.
Would love to play in the summer.
Greens were understandably wet but true.
Due to the HS2 DRILLINGon the course there are areas that may never recover.

course is a disgrace
I am glad that the diggers are coming to Ruislip to tear it up soon because this is in piss pour condition right now . There is test drilling going on at present and a metal mat has been installed for vans to drive over the course : when I rang to book the tee , this was never mentioned . If your ball hits the mat , it can end up anywhere and if you manage to find it , your ball will be damaged . I will never play this shite course again and am happy that a train will soon be on it . Green fees have remained , which is a crime . Do not dare play here .
