Situated 5 miles south of the historic city of Lincoln, this parkland 9 hole golf course with its rolling fairways, water hazards and large greens, is ideal for the beginner and yet offers a challenge for the more experienced golfer.

Services beyond golf
It was my first time at Pottergate GC. I was received with the most welcoming gestures by two lovely ladies( sorry I forgot their Names) . They were very help helpful indeed andkind enough to answer all my golfing queries.The greens was superb and well maintained. Also I met two gentlemen, Max and Phill who let me join them for 3 balls. Good course
The course is very good, the staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. We have found some club members are a bit stand offish.The meal times are a little short but we understand that this is demand driven, the Sunday lunches are amazing.

Unplayable
Staff friendliness was excellent. Course however should not have been open and bare minimum they should have been playing off mats on fairways. Fairways were very boggy and lot's of casual water and greens were also sodden. I believe they were doing more harm than good by opening on the day I played. Just to reiterate all the staff I dealt with were great. Only played 9 holes and cut short the full 18 due to course conditionsReviewer Rating

A delight
From the moment we arrived as visitors for our 3 ball we were met by friendly and helpful staff and members. Although there is no pro the staff were able to answer all all queries. Although this is a 9 hole course there are two flag positions on the large and well maintained greens and we were not held up. There is one par 5. The bunkers were in excellent condition, which is a failure on many courses. Some of the tee boxes were undergoing slight maintenance but nothing to spoil our round.Very nice club house with good food.
Overall a most enjoyable day and we will certainly return.

A real gem
The course is always in fantastic condition with some lovely challenging holes. The fairways bounce beautifully and the greens are so smooth with some catching undulations.I love this course, it’s one of my favourites.
