This must be one of the best nine hole courses in the country. Really a pleasure to play and even better in the club house with some very nice owners.

Lovely 9 holer
I am a recent 15 handicapper looking for some casual golf as I gave up club membership due to work commitments and found this little gem on-line.
It has 9 holes with 18 tees and flags, all the holes are different including a 200yd par3 and a par 5 with a really challenging drive.
Some good holes and you have to think about how to play it. Some beginners may find it a little challenging.
Play can be slow due to 9 holes and 18 tees but enjoyable.
Nice little clubhouse and bar with friendly staff.

Nine tees eighteen flags but to many unplayerable hazards. Club house and owners second to none for hospitality.

Oliver, Lincoln rated 4 out of 5 - Sep 23 2015

Great course in a lovely setting just South of Lincoln.

9 Holes with some forgiving Par 4's, deceptive Par 3's and a long Par 5 with one of the most daunting tees in the county requiring a drive threaded through a 15/20 yard gap between trees.

The course is well-presented with undulating greens in decent condition and provides a leisurely yet challenging round of golf for all ages and abilities

The course is a good test but the greens are very dry and patchy, they don't look like they are watered very often and are a poor quality. Also, the pace of play is very slow so don't go on a nice day or you will have to wait ages between holes.

Tricky course which is not be be under estimated. Water ditches in play on most holes. The greens have lots of slopes and are tricky to read. Overall a good test of golf. The clubhouse welcome was great.

What has happened to our club!. Greens which used to be superb are now shocking, Whole course looking very uncared for. Weeds everywhere, they are even growing in the bunkers. This its self is amazing due to the lack of sand. please please please bring our course back to the good old days. Club house great. Still a great atmosphere.

I really did enjoy this course, I play to a 2 handicap at my much longer home club, but this course was a real test. If you think 9 hole courses are pitch and putt....think again!!!. The greens and the overall condition of the course is well maintained, and the welcome I received from the club professional and staff was second to none. Many thanks and I will be back, and I would highly recommend a visit.

An excellent little course offering a good variety of holes, some far more challenging than their modest yardages would suggest. Well maintained. Good value.

Best course in Lincoln! I am sure likes of Torksey and Woodhall Spa might say something about that statement.

Overall Pottergate is a tidy 9 hole course. Its short and great for someone new to the game. Holes are not to long and you can get a few pars very easy.
Clubhouse is nice and welcoming and staff are friendly.
