Front nine is more interesting than back nine, as everyone says, but there are some interesting challenges on the back nine regardless (11th tee, 15th tee, 17th approach, 18th tee).

Greens could have been a little better but for £10 it's fantastic value and a good test. The front 9 is a real challenge.

didn't enjoy course too hilly one hole had to go up steep steps with trolley, fairways not been cut like playing out of rough

good course fairways hadn't been cut which was a shame!!! greens were spot on enjoyed the round great value for money

The course of this date is in outstanding condition. The greens are the best they've ever been, much better than most of the private clubs in the area. The club really is on an upward curve with the recent change in green keeping staff and management. Great value at the moment for non-members wanting to play a round too.

newbold comyn is the best municipal course in the county and its the best course for a challenging round this golf course is a test of golfers ball striking skills prices are midweek 18 holes £10 weekend £15

the course has suffered vandalism twice in 2 years lost the head pro and the head greenkeeper plus another greenkeeper balls rolling true on the greens rough is long but is said to get shorter in the long term for the price its a excellent course

Course in bad shape from what it was a few years ago now even golf pro no longerat course shame the lads in shop don't know what they are doing

Windy and Wet day greens were boggy but nice course although pore signs between holes. Not Clear.Would play better in dry.

greens terrible covered in sand and large airation/drainage holes. 7th green already on temp, ball bouncing all over place, after 5 days of poor weather. All other aspects of course in good condition. Does not bode well for winter play.
