Wow, after years operating out of a shack, sorry it was, a new club house/Pro shop has opened last month, what an improvement. The helpful staff are still there and its now a pleasant place to have a coffee after your round. Greens are some of the best around at the price, NOT slow!
Improvement work going on all around the layout after the adjacent development has been completed. The new car parking area is very swish! Golf layout has been retained with ongoing improvements evident including to the teeing areas which are the low point on the layout. My round was a steady 68 off a 8 handicap and a pleasure to be able to test your short game and accuracy of the teeing areas on an intimate but tricky layout. the 9th is a card wrecker of a green. This is a little gem in a area of some fantastic layouts.
Give it a go, its not Wentworth and doesn't pretend to be but it is great value and a good test of golf for all standards. Pro and staff helpful and a nice atmosphere.

I love this 9 hole course. Each hole is interesting (if not particularly tricky) but it's in great condition and not too busy either. You can get round in 90 minutes and is great value for money.

I went to Moore Place as I wanted something a little more challenging then other 9hole courses in the area. This course defiantly provided a challenging experience. Pretty much every hole your teeing off uphill, downhill, up to a dog leg, over a hill etc rather then just flat, tee-fairway-green! I visited in Jan 2015 and even when other courses were suffering from water logged fairways and mucky areas Moores Place holds up very well due to the course being built mainly on a sand based substrate. I have only been playing a short while so my experiences of other course is limited but of the 3 or 4 different courses I have played Moores Place is the best and I will continue to play here. They are building a new clubhouse/shop facilitie which should be open by Spring I believe. All in all a short challenging little course. The 9th green is a real tester too. Wow.

Short course (Standard Scratch is 62 vs Par of 66 accordingly) where your accuracy off the tee, shot management and short-game are well tested. Narrow fairways can be easy to miss, and if you do your second shot will inevitably be blocked by a tree.
While perhaps not the fastest, the greens are always in good condition, if a little bit over-penal (if you're on the wrong level on no's 6 and 9 you could struggle to stay on the green after your first putt!)
The course drains very well in wet weather (this was one of the few courses in the area open when the rest of the country was suffering severe flooding).
Nice, friendly place to play, and they are building a nice new club-house as I type, which should move my 'Fair' review of facilities up a bit.

A testing and featured 9 hole course. Encourages and rewards straight hitters. Clever club selection required. Greens were incredibly fast and therefore tricky. Overall very enjoyable; though frustrating!

A shorter course that played well in sunny dry conditions, ground being quite hard, but grass has been left long enough to ensure that it does not get parched. Good greens with tricky slopes, particularly the (new) 7th. Simple modern clubhouse with basic facilities.
Just to note that the course plan was changed a year or so ago, when the new small clubhouse was built, and so the starting hole is now at (what was) hole number 3.

Was a bit windy so consequently the ball kept getting lost under the leavers.I don't know if the course had the leaves removed but it was a bit frustrating spending time looking for your ball. I also noticed my satellite watch did not sync with the course as they have recently renumbered the holes.

Good for a quick round after work. Helps work your short game. Slow greens. Poor tee boxes but £11 for 9 holes so can't moan too much
