What The Club Says

Mitcham Golf Club is unique with its moorland turf which makes it one of the driest courses in the country and is playable all year round. It's a natural course with trees and bushes that shut out the busy world that surrounds the common. Skilfully placed bunkers makes this course a very challenging Par 69.

The course itself offers a stiffer challenge than it might seem upon initial inspection of the card. Designed with shot-making strategy in mind, the course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting. With natural hazards and challenging greens the course invites competition for all skill levels.

Played with member, senior rate, excellent value for fine, interesting course. Ideal for older players as on the short side, not too strenuous!

great course not played for a few years and forgot what a little gem this course is a little confusing on the layout but still worth playing as greens are fantastic and fairways of similar standard.

Play here now and again. Course was in decent nick though greens were quite firm. Worth playing despite not being the longest course. Rough was up so still tricky enough.

Hadn't played here in a while. Course was in decent condition. Rough was up which means if you go offline its likely a lost ball. Greens were decent. Decent value at £30 twilight rate.

Mr Dan Brooks

What a great track , thinking man's course , you can not just grip and rip , you get full use of all your clubs with this course , had a very links feel to it but with plenty of trees thrown in , I shall be back before my trip to Scotland to prepare ,
Greens kept in the best condition

Such a great course to get to by public transport. Course is very enjoyable as it winds in & around the tram line. Some long par 3s & has a real linksy feel however, greens were very slow & breaks gentle. Fairways still a little potted & too early in mid May not to apply winter rules. Should play better & better as the warm weather takes hold.
