What The Club Says
Throughout the 6,618 yards of this par 72 course, water features, large bunkers, trees and expansive greens combine to offer a challenging, as well as a most enjoyable golfing experience. The front nine, which plays towards the small village of Mill Green itself, is both open and undulating, and by comparison the back nine plays directly towards Hertford and is noted for its narrow fairways which work their way through ancient woodland and large lakes.

Good use of water hazards offering interest and a few “lay-up” vs “go for it” challenges even for a hi handicap golfer like me.
Some fairways are very dry following the dry April spell, whereas others were more lush. There are some very large greens (at least to this relatively inexperienced golfer) and the pin positions (it was location B) on some of the greens were quite difficult given the Green contour and proximity to the fringe.
Quite a lot of dog legs - the outward 9 favour the slicer, and the inward 9 the hooker!

Nice challenging course
Well worth a visit. Quite challenging course, with several water hazards, and some tight fairways. Many Golf apps / watches still recognise the original layout as the course has been turned around and lots of new bunkers/ water hazards etc not shown. All holes are different but very enjoyable to playReviewer Rating

Good Greens - Driving range could be improved
played on Easter BH Monday - course was in good shape, greens were very good. The grass driving range is a plus, but it could be a looked after a little bit betterReviewer Rating

Lacking pro shop which means waiting to check-in while staff serve coffees.
