What the club says: Throughout the 6,618 yards of this par 72 course, water features, large bunkers, trees and expansive greens combine to offer a challenging, as well as a most enjoyable golfing experience. The front nine, which plays towards the small village of Mill Green itself, is both open and undulating, and by comparison the back nine plays directly towards Hertford and is noted for its narrow fairways which work their way through ancient woodland and large lakes.

very good value, and a good course - but a messy booking in process, and overbooked course - late going out because of it, for a twilight round, so only managed 16 of the 18 holes

Play here regularly. Allotment of time money and effort has been put into this course over the last 3cyrs. The fairways are beginning to suffer from the lack of rain but the greens are in great condition. This course is also the only one locally that has decent sand in thr bunkers.

Course in very good condition. 2 yrs ago the club spent a lot of time and money on the bunkers. They were rebuilt. However, maintenance is lacking. The black rubber base is showing through on some and grass is growing in others.

Great Course, challenging front 9, but you can make up on the back 9.

This was a round in early February after the course had been carry only due to wet weather. The greens were outstanding. The rest was carefully managed to avoid undue damage. Impressive course management.

Nice course
Played this course a few times, it has undergone major upgrades to bunkers, clubhouse and facilitiesExcellent practice facilities. The course itself is a mixture with quite a few open holes a few with water in play, and some woodland holes. I think it caters for all standards of golfer and I would highly recommend it

Recovered well from this years drought. Greens, fairways and bunkers,all in good condition. Found greens difficult to read. Not a criticism of the course.

They have changed around the 9's you now play the course in reverse and they added new bunkers as well as changes to the layout on some holes.

Tricky little course, but great fun!
Lovely course in amazing weather, with the tell tale signs of the sun making a few fairways a bit brown. However, greens were true and quite quick, and some tricky blind drives!My advice would be to buy a course guide though, as some of the holes look drivable, but there a load of hidden ditches and rivers!

Good course. Lovely greens. Interesting holes with plenty of doglegs. Largely short holes with difficult high elevated greens.
