Very nice course. Fairly well kept but rough is treacherous. Downside no flags just sticks.

Very surprised by the course fairways. The greens could do with some work but the course was good value for money.
Best municipal in Leeds area by far!
Just stay on the fairways as you will not find any ball that goes into the rough.

a good course which you can fly around, in no time. It is short and the fairways are large. Perfect for a beginner or someone (like me) trying to get my confidence up. For £12 you can't complain. Take it for what it is and you'll have an enjoyable round.

this is a good course with large fairways. It is very easy to lose your balls if they go off the fairways and you think they should be easy to find. this is frustrating. the 16th hole is interesting as you are teeing off blind through the trees but overall I enjoy this course and the value for money

Great course for anyone starting to play golf or returning from a long time off. Very forgiving with it's wide fairways but does have some very tricky holes. Would recommend going with someone who has played the course before, as there are no directions to your next hole and a few holes have a hike through woodland paths between them. As local authority courses go this is very good and recommended for value for money ( £15 for a Saturday ) , no waiting at holes...very enjoyable, would definately play again.

Middleton provides a good challenge for the average high handicapper like me. It has only one par five, however, it makes up for this with some nice challangeing par three's. I think the signature hole is the long uphill par 4 15th at 400 yards it take two really solid hits to reach this green.
Anyhow at 10.50 per round weekdays and 13.50 at weekends it will not break the bank. Although a municple course, it is well cared for. I hope you take the opportunity to play this course when you can.

Great Value for money with the 2fore1 offer. Fairways are good, rough is deep but on the whole good course. Accuracy over distant a key here.

Your previous reviewer is wrong. The Club and the Council are working hard to find a solution that keeps this course open event though, as with a lot of other courses, finds it difficult to make money. The course is very much open for business and is a good test of your skill and ability with some testing greens! And this month you can play with a mate on a 2 for 1!
