descibed as an organic golf club - i.e no use of chemicals anywhere. The greens were apart from 1 unplayable. The fairways are like concrete and covered in weeds not grass. Its a shame as the holes are all shaped nicely. Oh the bunkers have zero sand in them. Best avoided.

Continual rain.Fairways poor,still under winter rules.

Course is currently in a state. Fairway grass is thin and patchy and covered in dandelions. They are dry and hard giving unpredictable bounce. Greens 1-15 are poor having been hollow tyned but not top dressed. They are flat, dry and patchy. Greens won't hold long approach shots, short chips come up short. Greens 16-18 are in good condition. Course needs TLC. Nevertheless, it is a good challenging course which is benign in calm weather but very difficult to play when windy. Has potential and will get better.

The greens were in very poor condition and many of the fairways covered in dandelions and daisy's, this made shots off the fairways difficult.

The course is challenging for high handicap players. Greens need improvement but fairways well kept and the course is being improved .

Very good drainage. Sadly the quality of the fairways and greens isn't great

good trying course narrow in places but wide in others if u are straight u will do well, if not watch out !!!!!!!!!!!!!! worth a trip

The course looks better than I have ever seen it. Greens good and true. Fairways green with plenty of grass on them. Staff as friendly as ever and the food was excellent . Will play again very soon

The UKs first organic golf course, and it is a little different. Don't expect perfect fairways although the greens were pretty good. Unfortunatly flooding had closed part of the course but the very friendly staff gave me plenty of options to play the course. Nice and open made it a fairly easy round dispite my wayward driving. Above all it was a really nice walk round even in the rain with a nice setting and country park feel. I imagine it's a good compeition course in dryer weather as there were plenty of options for strategy.

Most of the course is under water. If you are planning on playing here, you should wait until our "summer" has ended and the course has dried out. Even between the holes you are negotiating a bog. Greens are shaggy and the fairways are in a very poor condition. However, the welcome we recieved was excellent.
