Good condition considering Rain

Parkland course, public. Considering the amount of rain, no standing water but fairways a little muddy. Greens were good considering the rain and being airiated most probably 3 weeks ago. Open fairways very generous and some tricky slopes

Scenic

Nice scenic course for the area, must drain well bearing in mind recent rain. Sloping fairways to be wary of, plus lots of weekend walkers as part of an open access park. Rain may have prevented grass cutting as fairways and greens needed a trim. Greens and approaches spiked, but where following rather than crossing spike marks greens ran well. Bunkers need some work. Clubhouse only fair - a bit tired.

Lovely setting

Very wide course, open and exposed with breathtaking views over the Kent countryside.
Fantastic to see the Lullingstone castle and church.
Very friendly staff in shop and bar, the building is rather tired and old.

good cheap course

Good cheap course and most holes are open and forgiving. The only downside is the free walking public.

Harder than you think

For a public course Lullingston Castle is excellent. Best course around bassed on price. A real test

Undulated course protected by its length

Another nice round here, staff are friendly fairways mostly generous, however length of course at over 6000 yards off the yellows is what makes it a slight challenge for higher handicappers.
