What the club says: Located in more than 500 acres of the most attractive and picturesque countryside. Play in the most scenic setting in Kent. Situated in the Darenth Valley near Chelsfield village, just outside London, Lullingstone offers both dedicated player and enthusiastic beginners a location unrivalled in the south east of England. The championship length 18 hole, par 72 course provides even the most committed player with the occasional challenge. The nine-hole course offers an equally rewarding playing experience for the seasoned golfer and a gentler introduction to the challenges ahead for those embarking on the game.

Nice open parkland course, with attractive views of the surrounding countryside. Challenge comes from the contours with a lot of side-sloping fairways and raised greens; also, you are fairly exposed to the breeze so when it's against you the longer holes can take some reaching. Greens were acceptable quality but a bit variable in speed. It was busy when we played on a Sunday lunchtime but the pace of play was not too bad. Overall an enjoyable round and would play here again.

Society Day 1
Tough conditions on a tough course managed to scramble some points together. Came 3rd in the swindall too for my first one of the year.

Grumpy staff
Denied us a credit on a previous overcharge. Then after paid £30 for a buggy, marshall with watch running fast, tried to stop us watching partner group play 18th hole because 'wanted to go home'. Left thinking they really dont want customers.

Boycotted spending in the cafe and bar as a result.

Rude, jobsworth staff mean wont be visiting again

Cracking views, very mature
With views of the castle and valleys this hilly courses through mature woodland is a real surprise for a public course. Don't expect your highest score here so many of the fairways are on hills you are often over or under the ball. Greens are ok not to fast, some of the T boxes could be better. Clubhouse a little old and tired but looks out on great views over the 18th and 1st. Staff are friendly price a little strap for public exspecly for juniors. The 9 hole is excellent with mixture of par 4's and 3's both 18 and 9 well worth a play at least once.

Superb Golf Course
They have done a lot of work on the greens this year and it has really paid off. The course is in terrific condition and now has greens to match.
