What the club says: Located in more than 500 acres of the most attractive and picturesque countryside. Play in the most scenic setting in Kent. Situated in the Darenth Valley near Chelsfield village, just outside London, Lullingstone offers both dedicated player and enthusiastic beginners a location unrivalled in the south east of England. The championship length 18 hole, par 72 course provides even the most committed player with the occasional challenge. The nine-hole course offers an equally rewarding playing experience for the seasoned golfer and a gentler introduction to the challenges ahead for those embarking on the game.

Good Course
I only played the nine hole this time.. the course was ok but could do with a bit of TLC.. but even so great little practice round to shed some of that rust.. the 18 hole looks in great condition and I?ll be back to play that soon. The golf shop was empty maybe they are having a refit soon, but nothing for sale.

Could be better
This course could be a little gem but is in need of some TLC. This is not a lockdown result it has been in need of investment for some time.

Good value
Fantastic course worth visiting. Fantastic course worth visiting. Fantastic course worth visiting. Fantastic course worth visiting(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 18.9)

Fantastic Test of Golf
This long course is always a testing round in any weather conditions. The course is always playable, greens excellent, wide fairways which suit most abilities.

Lovely views, nice course layout
Didn't lose or find a ball - wide fairways allow for the erant shot. The greens were in very good condition. The same couldn't be said of the tees and certainly the bunkers, where we agreed to play from behind such was the mess. But overall a nice course with some beautiful views of the castle and surrounding area.

Good

Lovely views, decent course
Lullingstone has some of the best collection of views on a golf course in the south east. Course is generally open, rewarding the longer hitters, and not punishing the slightly wayward. A little bit tatty round the edges, but in general worth playing. Greens in mid September were not quick but were true and hard. The two oldest players in our group of 12 did best, suggesting there were not many forced carries and plenty of ways to run the ball into greens along the deck. A pleasure to see this when too many courses rely on pin point lofted shots to soft greens.

Stunning views
Good course in reasonable condition with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Greens in very good condition, albeit a little slow. The grass on the fairways was a little long In places, but nevertheless satisfactory. We did not play out of bunkers as GUR due to Covid. Tee boxes showing signs of wear.

Day out

Well kept

One of my favourite courses
It's not just a good and interesting course to play, the scenery alone is worth the effort to get there.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 20.3)

Our Masters Compo
A lovely day at Lullingstone where 16 battled for the coveted TMC UK Masters title. Course was a dry but reasonable order, this was my first run our here and the Golf was very enjoyable. Course was very playable and allowedfor high scoring. Our winner won with 39 Stableford. Greens were quite slow and unreadable at times and the 17th/18th tee was very poor condition which was a shame. Recommended overall.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 20.2)

Nice Course, nice surroundings
Played the 9-hole course many times (which is also very good), this week was the first time playing the 18 hole Castle Course.Overall a nice course, in nice surroundings. Greens were in good nick, the bunkers could do with some work. This is not unusual as most courses seem to have neglected their bunkers during close-down.
There are numerous public pathways running through the course and this can slow play waiting for hikers to clear out the way, but everyone seemed friendly enough.
The course is quite hilly in places, so it can be a good test of your fitness, let alone your golf. This hilliness however does provide some pretty scenery.
I cannot comment on the clubhouse much, as we did not stay for food or drink. The pro shop staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lully in lockdown
Despite all the problems created by the pandemic Lully Park GC has managed to provide a playable course in pretty good condition. As with most courses it is now suffering a little with the dry weather but the greens are 7/10. Fairways 7/10. Tee boxes maybe a 6/10.It has obviously been well used in recent weeks so no surprise there are bald patches here and there. A wide open course and pretty long on some holes. Worth a visit as our group were 60+ so rate was just £18 for 18 on the main course.
