What The Club Says
Golf or "Gowf" (the old Scottish word for golf) has been played on these fields for over 400 years. It is believed that this ground has never at any time been under the plough in all these years. One can therefore appreciate why the turf at Loudoun is unique and probably among the finest of any inland course. Hampden Park, the legendary home of the Scottish national football team, was returfed from the rough along the road side around 1920.

Great course and very welcoming
I’ve just played Loudoun Gowf Course as a visitor and I cannot praise the friendliness enough. The club secretary moved his car so I could park across several committee members reserved spaces in my motorhome. I then was invited to join Kenny, Alan and Aldo on the 1st tee. It was a fabulous afternoon playing with these gents who made me feel so welcome and part of their regular group. The course was in very good condition given the times of year and I will certainly be back to play it again in the summer months. Thanks for making me so welcome.Reviewer Rating

Great little course
Due to covid, there were no changing or catering facilities which is fine due to the pandemic. Staff ensured we followed the government guidelines. Course Marshall came mid round to ask how we were getting on/enjoying it etc which I thought was greatReviewer Rating

Excellent value, great full package available.
Trees are a hazard everywhere a misplaced shot will cost you your par, tight fairways, need to hit straight.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 96 Handicap: 24)

Good layout for 36 hole outing

Loudon Gowf Club
Very friendly staff and members . The course was in great condition although the weather wasn’t all that good . The greens were excellent as well(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 26.1)
