What the club says: Ballochmyle is an inland Golf Course situated some 10-12 miles from the Ayrshire coast which boasts some of the most famous golfing links in the world, Royal Troon, Old Prestwick and Turnberry.
Whilst Ballochmyle will never attain the world wide appeal of these courses, it offers members and visitors a pleasant round of golf set in beautiful surroundings in the very heart of Burns country.

Fantastic course with some great challenges on the many dog legsFairways and greens in superb condition and rough not bad at all

Went for seniors open. unfortunately called off but allowed us to play.we take a group up each year for the Open and are met with friendliness. A very nice course and in great condition. Will be back next year.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course for corporate day

Great course well worth a game
Shame the weather was rubbish, other than that a great day. This course is well worth every penny. The staff couldn't do anything else for us. Put this on your tour.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 25.8)

we played this course for second time . it rained all day . just a few wet bits on the greens course still played well .

Excellent challenging course for all levels. Staff were very friendly and the Secretary even let me use his clubs as I didn't have mine with me. Food excellent also. Clubhouse in need of a bit of a redec, but made to feel very welcome

As a visitor to the area staying close by and looking to play a round of golf at short notice, I received a friendly welcome from the members and staff. I found the course to be testing and interesting. Set in beautiful surroundings with lovely views and a very well maintained course. Would highly recommend. Would play again without hesitation if time allows.

Greens were a bit slow but will get better as we heard the course has had terrible rain recently, food & service was great although bar staff seemed a bit lazy with the waiter doing most of the work.will be back

Played 2 games in early May 08, glorious sunshine both days and course in excellent condition. Great food and friendly service in the clubhouse too.
