What The Club Says
The Rayleigh Club Golf Resort (formerly known as Lords Golf & Country Club) has two 18-hole courses which have both been designed by Reg Plumbridge of RJP Golf Course Designs, a name responsible for some of the country’s finest courses.
The South (formely Duke)
The 'South' course, at 6,616 yards, is regarded as one of the finest courses in East Anglia. A series of lakes and open water throughout the course encourages exciting, challenging and strategic play within a visually beautiful landscape.
The East (formely Earl)
The 'East' course offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience for players of all abilities. This executive length course, measuring 4,670 yards, is ideal for beginners, and those wishing for a speedy and unencumbered round of golf.

Good course to get back to after winter. Staff are excellent. Greens and fairways are well kept and maintained even though it's not main courseiReviewer Rating

Very poor
I hate to say this as I love playing this course and I know the weather has not helped but the course at this time is very poor. The tee boxes and general grass management has been neglected in favour of putting all the effort into the members South course. The greens were very good but the fairways need lots more attention. I do understand the South course is taking all the green keepers time for the fee paying members. But more time should be allocated to the East course.Reviewer Rating
