What The Club Says
Longcliffe Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in Leicestershire. Set on the lower slopes of the ancient Charnwood Forest, it is a challenging tree lined course. Each hole presents a different challenge during the round.

The best of Leicestershire
Where to start? So many superlatives to describe this place but to summit up would be try this place you won't be disappointed. I was fortunate enough to have received a round of golf from my mother-in-law for my birthday in January. This was for a green fee up to, ?70 (she nearly fainted at the cost)We played it on 26? 6?24, probably the hottest day of the year so far. When we arrive, we went into the Pro shop and he told us that all the facilities were open part from the driving range which isn't open until 1 pm. Everything else was accessible to us and he wished us on our way.
The course. I had heard great things about Longcliffe GC, and everything I was told about it lived up to my expectations. Hole is a par three uphill, Green guarded by two bunkers and a stone/rock. The tea boxes and greens and fairways were of a standard you expect from, a place like this. Every single whole is different, well signed posted to get to the next hole as we haven't got the advantage of people playing in front of us to spot where we had to go next. We also didn't have anybody behind us, which meant we could, carry on at our own pace so many interesting and wonderful holes to keep you smiling. Joy to play and hopefully I will be back in the near future. 100% worth playing this excellent golf course at least once in your life and that's a fraction of the price of the premium Nottinghamshire courses slightly up the road.

First visit
My first visit to the course which was in very good condition for the time of year and with the amount of rain we have had. The greens were in very good condition and I can't wait to play again in the summer.Reviewer Rating
